Susuz Han is a historic Seljuk-era caravanserai located near Bucak on the Antalya–Burdur route. It was built around the mid-13th century and served as a resting and trading stop for caravans traveling through Anatolia.
The building is especially unusual and impressive examples of Seljuk stone art.
Today, only the covered section of the caravanserai survives, but its large vaulted halls and central dome still show the architectural style of medieval Anatolian trade inns.
Its main purposes were:
* Giving merchants and travelers a safe place to rest overnight
* Sheltering animals like horses and camels
* Storing trade goods and supplies
* Providing protection from bandits and harsh weather
* Serving as a stop along important trade routes between Antalya and inner Anatolia (connecting the Mediterranean coast with central Anatolia)
The Antonine Fountain (also called the Antonine Nymphaeum) is one of the most famous monuments in Sagalassos Ancient City. It was built during the reign of Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius between 161–180 AD.
The fountain stands in the Upper Agora of the ancient city and is impressive because of its huge size — about 28 meters wide and 9 meters high — with richly decorated columns, statues, and colorful marble stones. It originally supplied fresh mountain water to the city.
One remarkable feature is that, after extensive restoration work completed around 2010, water flows from the fountain again today, almost like it did 1,800 years ago.
