In an atmosphere filled with academic spirit and historical reflections, the Macedonian Scientific Society – Bitola, in collaboration with the NGO Cultural Connection from Bitola, hosted a scientific gathering dedicated to the 1140th anniversary of the passing of St. Methodius.
The event was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Daniela Andonovska Trajkovska, who highlighted the significance of St. Methodius in the context of the cultural and scientific heritage of the Slavic peoples. The moderator of the event, Mr. Stefan Karadzovski, facilitated a dynamic dialogue among the attendees.
The gathering was enriched with presentations by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anita Angelewska, Prof. Dr. Valentina Gulevska, and Mr. Ile Velkov, who explored new historical, linguistic, and cultural aspects of St. Methodius' legacy. The scientific gathering was not only a tribute to St. Methodius but also a testament to the need for continuous academic research and the exchange of knowledge—pillars upon which the future of the academic community is built.
