Our History
Hatiya Student Forum, University of Chittagong, began its inspiring journey in 2014 with a vision to unite students from Hatiya Island and foster a spirit of support, leadership, and community service.From a small initiative, the forum has grown into a vibrant organization with over 200 active members and guidance from 7 esteemed faculty advisors. Over the years, the forum has successfully organized more than 25 impactful events, ranging from educational seminars and social activities to cultural and community programs. Guided by its motto, “Serve for Students and Enlighten Our Island,” the forum continues to create opportunities for students, strengthen bonds among its members, and contribute to the development of the Hatiya community.
Who WE Are
To enhance students’ academic and skill development through workshops, guidance, and career-oriented activities. It promotes the culture and heritage of Hatiya while engaging in social welfare and community service programs.
To empower students from Hatiya studying at the University of Chittagong through academic, cultural, and social support; to build a strong, inclusive community that fosters personal growth, leadership, and a commitment to serving society.
To become a vibrant student led platform that inspires educational excellence, unity, and social responsibility driving positive change both within the university and in the greater Hatiya region.
