If you want compact earbuds with ANC and a straightforward listening setup, choose Cubitt Tracking Technologies Power Buds; if you need a touchscreen case, longer stated battery life, and more built-in controls, choose Audionic Earbuds. For someone looking for wireless headphones for big head, both are in-ear models rather than over-ear headphones, so headband size is not a factor; fit and comfort in your ears matter more.
Cubitt Tracking Technologies Power Buds vs Audionic Earbuds at a Glance
• Cubitt’s strength: ANC, transparency mode, and a compact charging case; trade-off: up to 26 hours of total playtime with the case.
• Audionic’s strength: a touchscreen case, five EQ modes, and up to 48 hours of stated total battery life; trade-off: more features and controls to manage.
• Cubitt suits: listeners who want a focused in-ear option for music, commutes, workouts, and everyday use.
• Audionic suits: people who value screen-based case controls, call-focused ENC, and adjustable sound profiles.
• For either pair: check how an in-ear fit works for you; neither model is a headband-style headphone designed around head size.
Cubitt’s appeal is its relatively simple setup: wireless in-ear earbuds, touch controls, and three noise-control choices—ANC on, ANC off, and transparency. ANC is intended to reduce background noise when you want to focus, while transparency lets ambient sound through without removing the earbuds. That gives you a choice for different settings, such as listening during a commute and then being more aware when you need to hear what is around you.
The stated playback is up to five hours on one charge, with up to 26 hours total when the charging case is included. That difference matters for planning: the single-charge figure is the more relevant one for a long stretch away from the case, while the total gives a broader picture of use between case recharges. The sheet also lists 10 mm dynamic drivers and a 20 Hz–20,000 Hz frequency range. Those are useful specifications to compare, but they do not establish how the earbuds will sound to every listener. Cubitt describes the sound as clear with strong bass; the practical fit will depend on your listening preferences.
I’d consider Cubitt if you want an in-ear pair for everyday listening, workouts, or travel and prefer the core choices—ANC, off, and transparency—over a touchscreen case full of extra functions. It is also the more focused option if you want to use touch controls without relying on a case display for routine adjustments. Because the supplied fit information describes an ergonomic, secure in-ear design, it is aimed at people who prefer earbuds that sit in the ear rather than headphones that rest over the head.
How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
Updated: 2026-10-23 · 8 min read · Independent comparison
Audionic is the more feature-heavy choice. Its case has a touchscreen for functions such as managing music and calls, adjusting volume, viewing time and date, and using tools including a timer, flashlight, camera control, and earbud finder. The sheet also describes optional features associated with a third-party application. That app is not required for the earbuds’ functionality, so buyers who do not want to use an external app can still consider the listed earbud and case features without treating app installation as necessary.
For sound customization, Audionic lists 14.2 mm dynamic drivers and five EQ modes: Standard, Classical, Jazz, Rock, and Pop. It also specifies ANC for listening and ENC intended to reduce surrounding noise in calls. These descriptions point to a broader feature set for someone who wants separate noise-control functions and preset sound choices. As with any stated audio features, the specifications do not guarantee that one tuning or noise-control result will suit every person.
The battery figures are up to 8–10 hours of playback on a charge and up to 48 hours with the case. Audionic also lists Bluetooth 5.4, transparency mode, and an IPX7 waterproof rating, alongside an individual earbud weight of 4 g. Taken together, those details make it a plausible fit for someone who wants longer stated playback between case charges, screen-based controls, or earbuds for workouts where the listed water resistance is relevant. The provided weight figure is for each earbud; it does not describe the fit for every ear.
Who should skip it: Skip Audionic if you want a simpler case and do not expect to use its touchscreen, EQ presets, or extra controls. Its additional functions are a benefit only if they match how you listen.
• Best for a touchscreen case → Audionic Earbuds. Its case display is specified for music, calls, volume, and several additional tools.
• Best for the longer stated total battery life → Audionic Earbuds. The sheet gives up to 48 hours with the case, compared with up to 26 hours for Cubitt.
• Best for a more focused set of controls → Cubitt Tracking Technologies Power Buds. Its listed sound-control modes are ANC on, ANC off, and transparency.
• Best for choosing among preset EQ profiles → Audionic Earbuds. It lists five modes for different listening preferences.
• Best for a clearly stated individual earbud weight and water-resistance rating → Audionic Earbuds. The sheet gives 4 g per earbud and an IPX7 rating.
• Best for a compact case and everyday use → Cubitt Tracking Technologies Power Buds. The product information describes a compact charging case and use for workouts, commutes, and daily listening.
• Best for call-oriented noise-control features → Audionic Earbuds. It specifies both ANC and ENC, with ENC described as a way to reduce surrounding noise for calls.
• Best gaming headphones for big head? Neither is an over-ear gaming headset. Both are in-ear Bluetooth earbuds, and both sheets mention low latency; neither provides headband dimensions or detailed gaming performance figures.
• Best multipoint Bluetooth headphones for big head? Neither can be confirmed from these sheets. They list Bluetooth versions, but do not specify multipoint pairing. Choose between them on their stated features, not an assumed ability to connect to multiple devices simultaneously.
In my opinion, I’d choose Audionic Earbuds for the more versatile set of listed features: its touchscreen case, five EQ modes, ANC and ENC, and longer stated total battery life give me more ways to tailor everyday use. I’d still choose Cubitt if I wanted a more focused feature set and a compact case.
For someone searching for wireless headphones for big head, my recommendation comes with an important distinction: neither is an over-ear headphone, so head size does not decide the fit. I’d choose Audionic only if its in-ear style suits you and you want the extra controls.
Think about fit before head size. Both products are in-ear earbuds. The supplied specifications do not give earbud dimensions or headband measurements, and neither has an over-ear headband. If your search for headphones for big head is really about avoiding tight earcups or a narrow headband, these earbuds are a different form factor—not a direct replacement for over-ear headphones.
Separate single-charge playback from case-assisted total playback. Cubitt lists up to five hours on a charge and up to 26 hours with its case. Audionic lists up to 8–10 hours on a charge and up to 48 hours total with the case. Those figures describe different listening windows, so consider whether you need a longer stretch between opportunities to recharge or are more concerned with the total available across case use.
Decide whether you will use the extra controls. Audionic’s screen and EQ presets are meaningful advantages if you want to adjust settings from the case or change sound profiles. If you mainly want to connect, listen, and choose among basic noise-control modes, Cubitt’s simpler list may be easier to live with. The third-party app mentioned for Audionic’s extended features is optional, according to the product information.
Be precise about gaming and device switching. Both product descriptions mention low latency, but the sheets do not provide a latency measurement or detailed gaming test results. Bluetooth versions are listed as 5.3 for Cubitt and 5.4 for Audionic. Neither sheet confirms multipoint pairing, so do not assume either can maintain simultaneous connections to multiple devices.
Audionic lists up to 8–10 hours of playback on a charge and up to 48 hours with the case. Cubitt lists up to five hours on a charge and up to 26 hours with the case. These are stated maximum figures, not a guarantee of identical runtime in every use.
Which is better for noise cancellation and calls?
Both list ANC, and both include a transparency mode. Audionic also lists ENC for reducing surrounding noise during calls; Cubitt’s provided specifications do not list ENC. The sheets do not give comparable measured noise-reduction results.
Multipoint pairing is not specified for either model.
Both are in-ear earbuds, not over-ear gaming headphones, and both descriptions mention low latency without giving a measured figure. Head size is not a headband-fit consideration here; choose based on whether the in-ear fit and each model’s controls suit you.
