The National Alliance of Children’s Trust and Prevention Funds is pleased to announce an opportunity for states participating in the Early Childhood Initiative to partner with the Alliance to develop collaborative projects that will support the entire ECI Learning Community as they seek to implement the Strengthening Families Protective Factor Framework.

During the October 7, 2010 ECI Learning Community networking call, members of the Learning Community had the opportunity to ask questions concerning this opportunity. States are being asked to submit (through the state's Children's Trust Fund) a letter of intent describing their proposal for projects. These letters should be submitted to Martha Reeder (martha.reeder@ctfalliance.org) by September 20, 2010.

The document "ECI Collaborative Projects," posted below, gives more details about the Collaborative Projects, and gives specific criteria for how they will be chosen, funded and supported by the Alliance.
