I obtained my PhD. in Operations Research in 2012 at the Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT) , advised by Prof. Andreas S. Schulz.
From 2012 to 2015 I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Center of Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE) at Université Catholique de Louvain, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Mathieu Van Vyve
From 2015 to 2018 I worked as a software developer for an Integer Programming Solver for Supply Chain Optimization at OM Partners (now OMP), Belgium
I am a Mathematical Engineer and also a Software Engineer from Universidad de Chile. My MSc in Computer Science was advised by Prof. Marcos Kiwi.
I have broad interest in discrete optimization, game theory and computational complexity. Most of my work deals with problems in supply chain management.
I am lead researcher of Fondecyt 11200616 "Accounting for market competition in production planning problems using a game-theoretical approach" (2021-2023)
My articles are available at Google Scholar
I teach Linear Optimization (every semester, introductory undergraduate course) and Logistics (every other semester, advanced undergraduate course).
Before, I was a lecturer of Supply Chain Modelling at Neoma Business School, France.
