CTAM Foundation

CTAM FOUNDATION was created by a unanimous decision of the CTAM Board of Governors at its bi-annual meeting on February 5, 1995. CTAMFOUNDATION is a 501 (c) (3) public charity under tax law, affiliated with Minnesota Foundation, an affiliate of The Saint Paul Foundaton. Because it is a public charity, donations are fully deductible. Minnesota Foundaton provides all legal, administrative, and investment services of the foundation for a minimal fee. CTAM FOUNDATION is a multipurpose fund, allowing for permanent endowments, more highly liquid program funds, dedicated funds to fulfill specific donor advisements, and individual asset gifting programs, which provide current financial benefits to the donor while providing a future financial legacy for the charitable fund.

The Saint Paul Foundation and Minnesota Foundation, as part of their legal requirements to operate as public charities, request grantees to provide evaluations of the projects funded by grants. Among the information requested include: (1) project name, (2) time framework for completion of the project, (3) intended outcomes, (4) implementing activities, (5) type of evaluative information needed, (6) data collection method, and (7) signature of the project director.

Representatives of affiliated funds are invited to an Evaluation Workshop, sponsored by The Saint Paul Foundation each October, in order to become familiarized with the evaluation process.
