My name is Haris Stylianakis. Currently, I am a high school math teacher. Also, I am PostDoc at the University of the Aegean in the department of Mathematics working with Vassilis Metaftsis. Before that, I was working for a few years in industry as a data analyst.

I completed my PhD at the University of Glasgow under the supervision of Tara Brendle. My research area is in geometric group theory and low-dimensional topology. More particularly, my work is in mapping class groups and braid groups.
