Countryside Elementary PTO (parent teacher organization) is a group of parents and teachers/faculty who are committed to providing great opportunities for all Countryside students and faculty. Our PTO is all-inclusive, meaning if you work at Countryside or if you have a child or family member attending Countryside, you're already a member of the PTO! No membership fees or dues required. The PTO needs participation to effectively support the school community. There are many great reasons to get involved, and many different ways to participate.
The Countryside PTO supports student enrichment, teacher/faculty appreciation, school improvements, and strengthening the Countryside school community. We organize fundraisers throughout the year that fund things like the 8 Keys of Excellence program, student field trips, a faculty meal during teacher appreciation week, and special items like the Gaga Ball Pit flooring. We have not held many community events in the past few years but would love to start holding them again if we have enough support and volunteers!
PTO is proud to support the school's 8 Keys of Excellence program! The 8 Keys help our children become the best they can be. The key principles are modeled and taught by school staff throughout the year, and each month focuses on one Key. The PTO provides the school with medals so students can be recognized each month for demonstrating that month's Key. The PTO also provides gift cards that are given out in a raffle to kids who demonstrate the keys. The kids love this program!
