WATER TREATMENT PLANT ⇨ AGRICULTURE
What’s the story?…..
Clean and fresh! Water leaving a water treatment is called “potable” water, meaning it is safe for use by people. Many farms in rural areas rely on groundwater, but urban farms will use this potable water, treated at the water treatment plant to grow crops and process the produce! Urban agriculture could include aquaculture (growing fish), hydroponics (growing food without soil), nurseries, greenhouses, floral shops, apiaries (bee keeping), and community gardens. Agriculture is a very important industry and doesn’t only happen in rural areas!
