STORMDRAIN/IMPERMEABLE SURFACE ⇨ CLOUDS

What’s the story?

Puddles! Puddles! So many puddles! When precipitation falls on impermeable surfaces, like parking lots, roads, and sidewalks, not all of it will make runoff that travels downhill into a storm drain. Some stormwater will collect in low spots and make puddles! Eventually, water from puddles and wet surfaces will evaporate (from heat, light, and wind energy), traveling as vapor up into the atmosphere to form clouds.
