Chiranjibi Sitaula, PhD 

Interests: computer vision, natural language processing, deep learning, digital health, social computing, earth observation, and remote sensing

Dr Sitaula is a Research Fellow in Earth Observation and AI at The University of Melbourne, VIC, Australia (2023-). He serves as an Academic Editor of Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience (CIN) and Electronic Research Archive (ERA) journal. Prior to joining The University of Melbourne, he was a Research Fellow at Monash University, VIC, Australia (2021-2023) in the field of digital health. He received his PhD in Information Technology from Deakin University, Australia. His current research interests include the application of Computer Vision (CV),  Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning (DL) and traditional Machine Learning (ML) to health informatics/digital health, social computing, and earth observation. He has published 38+ research articles in top-tier CV/DL/ML conferences/journals.
