Choose the appropriate version of the report that i.e. 64bit or 32bit depending on your application. Download the runtime from the above link and save it to a folder on your hard disk. Unzip the content.

Hi Flexera Software team,

My name is Gosha. I'm from DevExpress Support Team. An issue occurs if SAP Crystal Reports merge modules are installed on a machine. InstallShield Limited Edition detects that the DevExpress.Data assembly depends on these modules. This leads to errors when installing a built setup project on a client machine. In fact, our DevExpress.Data assembly does not depend on the SAP Crystal Reports merge modules. I have attached the DevExpress.Data assembly and its csproj file to illustrate this.

We tried to exclude the SAP Crystal Reports merge modules from a setup project, but this results in an error. I captured a video to illustrate our efforts. You can find the video in my comment from January, 3rd at

Please refer to the attachment for my setup project as well.

So, I would ask you to provide more evidence in this regard and help our customer resolve the issue.

My version of InstallShield is 2013 Limited Edition 20.00.0000. You can download the SAP Crystal Reports merge modules from _trial/crystal_reports_visual_studio/wty_int_crvs.epx?Level=1&FormResultID=3c08000b-356a-4cc7-a022-caef84938ed6&ContinueURL=%2fcampaign%2fne%2ffree_trial%2fcrystal_reports_visual_studio%2findex.epx%3furl_id%3dtext-na-sapcom-crvs-trial-landing%26kNtBzmUK9zU%3d1&.... It's necessary to unzip them to the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Merge Modules" folder. If you need our products installed on your side, you can download our trial version from

I'm looking forward to your response.

I have a Windows Server 2012 R2 web/app server with 'Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework (32-bit) 13.0.17.2096' which is used for running reports and printing. Every so often users can't run reports or print and an IIS restart resolves it temporarily. I'd like the narrow this down to CR as the culprit by restarting only CR when the issues exist but I see no way to do so. There's no CR service, process, anything I can find to try restarting.

Epicor support suggested running mfgsys64.exe on 64bit for our 32bit Epicor version. Are there any compatibility issues with doing this? It seems like Epicor does not like running on the 4.5 .net framework. What .net version is E9 compatible with?

SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework is required to display Crystal Reports at the end of the model run. In past versions of Arena, Crystal reports was automatically installed during the Arena installation process. That is no longer the case. It is now a separate step in installing Arena 16.1. Install Arena by selecting the MediaImage folder > autorun.exe.

I created a crystal report with two text boxes and one picture and i Exported it in the design time to xml.now i want to read the same xml and I want to create the same template in crystal report with two text boxes and one picture controls and if it is possible i want to change the height and the width of the controls also.if anybody is having any idea please share and try to solve my issue

This is a link to the latest SAP Crystal reports runtime. This is needed now to prevent .Net updates from breaking the system paths and this is only needed until the next release out and we ship the updated runtime with it.

In order to develop Crystal Reports a Crystal Reports license and client installation is required for each developer work station. The current version of Crystal Reports is 2011, even if this is the recommended version at the time of writing this may change in the future as new versions are released. Usually reports developed using older version of Crystal Reports work fine using a newer runtime. To run a report developed using a newer version than the runtime is generally not supported, though. So before acquiring a copy of Crystal Reports, make sure this version works with IFS Applications (i.e. the bundled runtime is updated). Examples used in this section all use Crystal Report 2011.

When a Crystal Report is executed through IFS EE, the Crystal Reports runtime creates it's own connection to Oracle. In order for this connection to use the same kind of security mechanisms as used when IFS EE accesses the database, the report needs to be created in a certain way. Creating the report this way will ensure that the end user does not get access to data he or she is not allowed to access. One typical example would be that different users running the same query against a view in IFS Applications gets different result sets based on their privileges (i.e the view has some row based security).

Once you order the report, you can see the sub report link in main report. Double click on this to open your sub report. Use of \ alias character for view with Crystal Report .net runtime version 13.0.13 and above.Due to an Oracle sessions hanging issue in the Crystal .net runtime 13.0.1 version, it was seen that customers updated their Crystal Report .net runtime version to version 13.0.13 or above. After this update, the generally used \ alias character stopped working and an error was seen when you try to run a layout where the \ alias was used in the views inside the layout. For this Crystal suggested to manually add a registry entry to denote the invalid view alias characters. Add the registry key given below manually to the system registry or downloadthis file and RMB on *.reg file and select "Merge" to add the entry to the system registry. This should be added in the machine where the Crystal Web Service is running. You will have to restart the Crystal Web Service after adding this registry entry. e24fc04721
