Crystal Glass Widget ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we access, use, and safeguard your data when you use the Crystal Glass Widget mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
The app may access the following information to provide widget functionality:
Location Data: approximate location (city level) used only to display weather information in weather widgets.
Calendar Data: read-only access to your calendar events used to display them in calendar widgets.
Device System Data: battery level, RAM, CPU, storage, and network status used for system monitor widgets.
Widget Preferences: themes, layouts, and customization settings you create within the app.
We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, contacts, photos, or messages.
2. Health and Fitness Data
If you choose to use the Fitness & Health widgets, the app accesses the following data from Android Health Connect, with your explicit permission:
Active Calories Burned — to display in the Active Calories widget
Exercise Sessions — to display workout summaries in the Exercise widget
Steps — to display daily step count in the Step Counter widget
Sleep Sessions — to display sleep duration in the Sleep widget
Heart Rate — to display the latest heart rate reading in the Heart Rate widget
How this data is used:
Health and fitness data is read directly from Health Connect on your device and displayed only in the home-screen widget you added.
This data is not transmitted to our servers, not shared with any third party, not used for advertising, and not combined with any other personal data.
All processing happens entirely on your device.
Your control:
Each Health Connect permission is requested only when you add the corresponding widget. You can deny it without losing access to the rest of the app.
You can revoke any Health Connect permission at any time by opening Health Connect → Permissions → Crystal Glass Widget. The affected widget will simply stop updating.
Uninstalling the app removes all access to your Health Connect data.
3. How We Use Your Information
The information accessed is used solely to:
Display widgets you choose to use on your home screen
Save your custom themes and preferences
Show accurate weather, calendar, system, and health information
Improve app performance and user experience
Your data is not used for advertising purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
All your widget preferences, custom themes, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or store your data on our servers. We take reasonable security measures to protect your local data from unauthorized access.
5. Data Retention and Deletion Policy
We do not store, save, or retain your personal, location, system, or health data on any external servers.
Zero Server Retention: Because we do not transmit your data to any external servers, we do not store or retain any of your data under any circumstances.
Local Retention: Any customization settings, themes, and preferences you create inside the app are stored exclusively on your device's local storage. This local data is retained only as long as the app is installed on your device.
Real-time Processing (No Retention): Real-time data read from Android Health Connect, Location, Calendar, and System parameters is processed directly in memory to render the widgets. None of this data is stored or written to disk.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except when required by law. Only approximate location is sent to our weather data provider to retrieve forecasts; no other data leaves your device.
We do not share, sell, or transfer Health Connect data to any third party under any circumstances. Health Connect data never leaves your device.
7. User Control and Data Deletion
You can delete your data or revoke access at any time:
Revoke Permissions: Revoke any permission (location, calendar, Health Connect, etc.) anytime in your device settings.
Clear App Storage: Delete all locally stored settings and preferences by clearing the app storage/cache in your device settings.
Uninstall App: Uninstalling the app immediately and permanently deletes all locally stored data and removes all access permissions from your device.
