Pastor Doyle DeGraw

Pastor Doyle and Cathy have four adult children, Nathan, Peter, Aaron, and Stephanie. They also have six granddaughters and one grandson. Doyle loves coffee, reading, watching sports, enjoying sunsets and spending time with his grandchildren. What he loves most is seeing people grow in their relationship with Jesus. His ministry passions are to see people set free of anything that keeps them in bondage, being released in their spiritual gifts and purpose, and raising up spiritual sons and daughters for the next generation. In addition, Doyle really enjoys equipping churches to grow other churches through making disciples that make other disciples.

Doyle grew up in California. He spent his high school and college years in Santa Cruz, CA where he met his wife Cathy. They were married in 1976 in Capitola, CA. He began to follow Christ at the age of eight years old when he gave his life to Christ in a church in San Francisco, CA. He earned a B. S. in pastoral theology from Bethany University in 1976. Between 1976 and 2010 Doyle had a number of responsibilities. These included youth pastor, bank manager, headmaster of private Christian schools, and lead pastor of three mid-sized churches. In 2010, Doyle launched a private counseling practice in Grand Rapids, MI.

In 2012 Doyle and Cathy were called by the Reformed Church of America (RCA) to lead a fresh start of Christ Community Church in Stony Brook, NY. Doyle and Cathy moved to Stony Brook in June 2012. After the church was closed in early 2013, Doyle and Cathy led the launch of a new church plant called Crossroads Church in August 2013.

Doyle is an ordained minister of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. In addition, Doyle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LHMC) in the state of New York. He has a private counseling practice called Royal Oaks Counseling.
