Crossroads Art Club

Crossroads Art Club is a program that since 2023 provides communal studio time to young artists held in detention before criminal trial by the NYC Administration for Children's Services at Crossroads Juvenile Center in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. The facility houses people who's ages range from 12 to 21. The program meets at least once a week to collaborate on projects and share momentum with each other in a safe and supportive environment. Brothers Jacob Cohen and Max Cohen bring decades of work with young people in a variety of institutional settings to facilitate creative expression.

Art Club had its first show of work by youth and staff in Sept, 2024.
