How does the commission process work?
Once you submit the intake form (found on the linktree), I will come up with a few design ideas and then present them to you. This serves more as a starting point than anything. It's an opportunity for you to tell me what you like and don't like, and any changes you'd like made. We'll go back and forth until you're happy with the design. Then I will buy the hoodie and get to work on the design!
How does pricing work?
Pricing is tiered into 3 separate categories depending on the complexity of the design. Designs that require more paint coverage or many layers of paint will be more expensive than those requiring simple customization. Pricing can be found in the intake form.
Why are there two different prices?
Because I accept orders from both the United States and Canada (and split my time between living in the two countries), I have to account for currency conversions.
What do you use to paint the hoodies?
Each hoodie is painted with acrylic paints mixed with fabric medium to ensure the longevity of the paint and avoid cracking.
Where do you get the hoodies?
Hoodies are locally sourced from a thrift shop and washed before any work is done on them.
Can I wear my hoodie right away when I get it?
Yes! Each hoodie is washed prior to customization and heat set with an iron before delivery. It is recommended to wash them inside out to preserve the design.
Can you paint one of my hoodies?
If its a blank hoodie, absolutely! There will be a $5 USD / $10 CAD discount if you provide your own hoodie. If you ship it to me, you are responsible for all shipping costs. I unfortunately am unable to paint your hoodie if it has a design on it, I don't want to mess it up!
Do I need to have a complete design in mind?
Nope! I'm more than happy to work with you to come up with a design for your hoodie.
How long does it take to receive my hoodie?
It depends on how long the design process takes, the complexity of the design, and location. For a hoodie with a simple design and local delivery, a week to two weeks would be a reasonable expectation. For a hoodie with a more complex design (such as the purple hoodie featured on my profile), it would take 2-3 weeks to complete once the hoodie has been acquired. If you request delivery to the location I am currently not present in, it will be delivered whenever I am there next. For example, if you are in the Denver/Boulder area and put an order in now, it would be delivered in late December. I will keep you posted on when to expect the hoodie and to arrange a pickup/delivery.
Do you do other garments or just hoodies?
As of current I just do hoodies. However this may change in the near future!
Can I request a design based on existing bands/games/shows?
Yes, with a caveat. If it is an explicit logo, it must be part of a larger design. For example, I will not paint just a band logo on a hoodie for the lowest priced tier. I am here to create, not copy.
What if I have a design in mind?
