CROSSHADE — PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 16 August 2026
WHAT CROSSHADE COLLECTS
Nothing. Crosshade has no account, no analytics, and no server of its own. Your
solves, coins, settings, journal entries and the puzzles you make are written to
this device and stay there.
PHOTOS
When you pick a photo, Crosshade reads it to work out which cells are ink, then
keeps only the resulting grid of squares. The photo itself is not copied,
uploaded or stored, unless you attach it to a Journal entry — and then it stays
in the app's own storage on this device.
CAMERA AND MICROPHONE
The camera is used when you photograph or film a Journal entry. The microphone is
used only while a clip is recording, so the clip has sound. Recordings are saved
on this device and are never sent anywhere.
SAVING TO YOUR PHOTO LIBRARY
When you tap Save to Photos, Crosshade writes the finished picture to your
library. That is the only thing it ever writes there.
CHILDREN
Crosshade does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children,
because it does not collect information at all.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the updated text ships inside the app and the date above
changes with it.
