Melee Survival
Sequence:
1: Duel-Wield - is set by default.
2: Two-Handed - Change to default if you want to use two-handed weapons instead of duel-wielding.
As a Melee Hunter, set Claw to autocast and make sure Bite is turned off. This helps ensure that Flanking Strike resets more frequently.
Use Aspect of the Viper when your mana starts to run low. You'll regenerate mana quickly, so you won’t need to stay in this aspect for long.
Don’t forget to use Rapid Fire! It’s not included in the standard rotation since it has a 5-minute cooldown and is best used in specific situations.
The Dual Wield (DW) rotation cycles through the following abilities: Hunter’s Mark (applied once per target), Raptor Strike, Mongoose Bite, and Flanking Strike.
The Two-Handed (2H) rotation cycles through the following abilities: Hunter’s Mark (applied once per target), Raptor Strike, Wyvern Strike, Mongoose Bite, and Flanking Strike.
Modded Keys (For both DW/2H):
To further increase your DPS and control the battlefield, make use of the following situational abilities.
Alt = Wing Clip - Use this to keep enemies from escaping or to kite melee mobs. Great for controlling adds or buying yourself space in PvE or PvP.
Ctrl = Explosive Trap - Ideal for AoE situations or when you're expecting multiple enemies to group up.
Shift = Immolation Trap - Best used for sustained damage on single or small groups of targets.
