Survival
Survival Hunter — Spec Info
Designed for MoP Classic (level 81+). Built for steady focus management, consistent Explosive Shot usage, and reliable Serpent Sting upkeep. Prioritizes smooth resource flow to prevent focus starvation while maintaining strong damage pressure in both ST and AoE.
Core Single-Target Rotation:
Opens by applying Serpent Sting once (reset=target). Cobra Shot will extend it for the rest of the fight.
Prioritize Kill Shot when available, then Explosive Shot on cooldown for main damage.
Keep Black Arrow active on cooldown to trigger Lock and Load procs for free Explosive Shots.
Maintain Steady Focus by weaving Steady Shots and Cobra Shots throughout the rotation.
Use Arcane Shot as a controlled dump, always paired with a Steady Shot to avoid starving.
Rapid Fire (Shift) and Stampede (Ctrl) are kept manual to align with trinket procs or burn phases.
Explosive Shot is available on Alt for immediate use when needed, without interrupting the core loop.
Core AoE Rotation:
Main loop alternates Multi-Shot (Serpent Spread) with Cobra Shot to maintain focus while spreading Serpent Sting.
Prioritize Kill Shot on low-health enemies and keep Explosive Shot firing on cooldown.
Steady Shots are included as fallback to stabilize focus if Cobra alone isn’t enough.
Drop Explosive Trap with Alt @cursor when mobs are grouped and stationary for added cleave damage.
Modded Keys:
Shift = Rapid Fire (haste burst)
Ctrl = Stampede (major cooldown)
Alt = Explosive Shot (ST) / Explosive Trap @cursor (AoE)
Talents in Sequence:
L60: Dire Beast and Fervor are each checked with known: and will only cast if taken.
L75: A Murder of Crows and Lynx Rush share a low-frequency block; Blink Strikes is passive and excluded.
L90: Glaive Toss, Powershot, and Barrage are grouped together behind known: checks and only your chosen talent will cast.
Utility and Pet:
Assumes your pet is active and attacking. Call Pet / Revive Pet and Mend Pet are left manual.
Use Misdirection manually on your pet or tank before big pulls.
Traps (outside of the Alt key usage), interrupts, and defensive cooldowns remain manual for reaction control.
Why this setup:
Keeps focus stable with steady Cobra/Steady usage and avoids common starvation issues.
Keeps Serpent Sting refreshed automatically through Cobra Shot while spreading it with Multi-Shot in AoE.
Allows fast reaction to Lock and Load procs by keeping Explosive Shot available on Alt.
Mod keys are always prioritized over regular casts so you never clip cooldowns.
Marksmanship
Marksman Hunter — Spec Info
Designed for MoP Classic (level 81+). Focused on steady ranged damage with Aimed Shot and Chimera Shot priority, Cobra/Steady Shots for focus management, and smooth integration of talent-based shots. Serpent Sting is handled once per target to keep uptime without overcasting.
Core Single-Target Rotation:
Opener: Serpent Sting applied once per target (reset=target).
Priority: Kill Shot > Chimera Shot > Aimed Shot > Arcane Shot as a dump.
Cobra/Steady Shot: Used to maintain focus flow and keep rotation smooth.
Talent support: Dire Beast/Fervor (focus tools) and level 90 talents (Glaive Toss / Powershot / Barrage) each fire on their own intervals.
Rapid Fire (Shift) and Stampede (Ctrl) are left to player timing for burn phases. Explosive Trap on Alt for fights with add waves or when the boss will stay put.
Core AoE Rotation:
Multi-Shot is the primary AoE builder; spreads Serpent Sting via Serpent Spread.
Priority: Kill Shot > Multi-Shot > Aimed Shot cleave.
Cobra/Steady Shots still used to keep focus flowing between Multi-Shots.
Dire Beast/Fervor and level 90 talents cycle the same way as in ST.
Explosive Trap (Alt @cursor) is your manual AoE tool for packs that are stacked.
Modded Keys:
Shift = Rapid Fire (haste burst).
Ctrl = Stampede (major cooldown).
Alt = Explosive Trap @cursor (manual ground effect).
Talents in Sequence:
L60: Dire Beast and Fervor checked with [known:] and cast when available.
L75: A Murder of Crows and Lynx Rush included on a clean interval. Blink Strikes excluded since it is passive.
L90: Glaive Toss, Powershot, and Barrage grouped in a one-liner; only your chosen talent will fire.
Why this setup:
Serpent Sting is handled with a one-time application, avoiding wasted focus.
Manual cooldowns give you ownership of Rapid Fire and Stampede timing.
Cobra/Steady weaving ensures you don’t starve during long boss fights.
Mod keys are consistent with BM and SV so Hunters keep the same muscle memory across all specs.
Tuning Tips:
If you are focus-starved in raids, shorten the Steady Shot repeat interval or add an extra Cobra Shot action.
For heavy AoE pulls, increase the Multi-Shot frequency and pair it with Explosive Trap manually.
If you prefer full manual trap use, reassign Alt to another defensive (like Deterrence) or utility ability.
Beast Master
Beast Mastery Hunter — Spec Info
Designed for MoP Classic (level 81+). Built around Kill Command priority, steady focus flow with Cobra Shot, and reliable Beast Cleave uptime in AoE. Serpent Sting is applied once on pull with reset=target and extended by Cobra Shot so it doesn’t need to be reapplied.
Core Single-Target Rotation:
Opener applies Serpent Sting once with reset=target, then goes straight into Kill Command.
Keep Bestial Wrath on cooldown for pet and hunter damage.
Kill Command is the main hit and should fire as often as possible.
Use Cobra Shot regularly to stabilize focus and extend Serpent Sting.
Arcane Shot is a controlled dump; use it only when you’re high on focus.
Mod keys are manual: Shift = Bestial Wrath, Ctrl = Stampede, Alt = Focus Fire.
Core AoE Rotation:
Multi-Shot is used to trigger Beast Cleave and cleave from your pet.
Keep Kill Command firing on cooldown even during AoE to maintain strong single-target pressure and Beast Cleave uptime.
Use Cobra Shot to keep focus stable while weaving in Multi-Shot casts.
Bestial Wrath is kept on its own short interval so it doesn’t get skipped during AoE.
Focus Fire (Alt) is used manually when your pet has 5 Frenzy stacks to boost haste.
Modded Keys:
Shift = Bestial Wrath (major cooldown)
Ctrl = Stampede (burst cooldown)
Alt = Focus Fire (pet Frenzy stacks haste buff)
Traps, interrupts, and defensive cooldowns remain manual for reaction control.
Why this setup:
Keeps Kill Command firing on time while weaving enough Cobra to prevent focus issues.
Keeps Serpent Sting from being overwritten while maintaining uptime through Cobra extension.
Bestial Wrath on a short repeat ensures consistent throughput without locking GCDs.
Mod keys are always prioritized over regular casts so you never clip cooldowns.
