Balance
Sequence:
You’ll need to manually select your target, either by clicking on it or tabbing through. This helps avoid pulling unwanted enemies while in the world, or during dungeons and raids.
The BD-FMI macro will cast Moonfire, and Insect Swarm once in sequence on your current target, and will reset to cast these abilities again on any new target. The modded keys below will allow you to recast Moonfire, and Insect Swarm when needed. Since Balance Druids have a mana pool limitation, it’s important to keep an eye on your mana. Use potions or other abilities to help maintain your mana pool.
For your primary damage output, this sequence focuses on casting Starfire.
In Classic, your Balance Druid rotation is primarily centered around casting Starfire.
Make sure to keep Insect Swarm, and Moonfire up on your target as much as possible. It’s recommended to keep an eye on your mana pool and use these abilities as long as your mana allows.
No other spells or abilities are included in the sequence or macro, as they are situational and may result in unnecessary mana expenditure. These abilities are left to be manually controlled by the player.
Modded keys:
Alt = Moonfire: A powerful DoT (Damage over Time) ability that applies a quick burst of nature damage to your target. It’s essential for maintaining pressure and contributing to your overall DPS.
Ctrl = Innervate: A powerful utility spell that restores a large portion of your target's mana instantly. It's essential for ensuring sustained spellcasting during long encounters, especially for healers or casters who rely on high mana regeneration.
Shift = Insect Swarm: A DoT ability that causes nature damage over time and also lowers the target's chance to hit. This spell is key for both damage and survivability.
