My research interests focus mainly on galaxy evolution, across redshifts and environments. What makes galaxies stop forming stars? When does it happen? How quickly? Are there factors that can increase these effects, or decrease them? How does the presence of an AGN affect the galaxy's evolution?
My previous research attempts to answer these question by bridging gaps between different regimes, and identifying galaxies which lie at the edges of various populations.
Outside of astronomy, I like to relax by watching YouTube or playing some video games. If I didn't go into physics, I would have liked to study linguistics. I find languages and their history fascinating. If there is a cat nearby, trust I will find it. Maybe I will open a cat café if academia doesn't work out for me.
