Research Goal
Through the identification of relationships between community-scientist reported stream conditions and biochemical measures of water quality, the goal of this research is to test the use of visual indicators to inform stream monitoring efforts.
Through the identification of relationships between community-scientist reported stream conditions and biochemical measures of water quality, the goal of this research is to test the use of visual indicators to inform stream monitoring efforts.
This research relies on community-scientists and stream users, like you, to report the water quality conditions of the streams you visit. Once we receive your input, the research team will follow-up at the survey location to collect water samples for analysis of water quality measures. CREEQ surveys can be performed through September 11, 2020 at any stream in Central New York State.
