Business Information: To facilitate ledger management, you provide information about your customers, including their names and mobile phone numbers.
Transaction Information: You input details of transactions, including amounts, dates, descriptions, and whether the transaction is a credit or debit.
Payment Information (for QR Code Generation): To enable the creation of custom payment QR codes, you provide your UPI (Unified Payments Interface) ID (Virtual Payment Address - VPA). We do not store your bank account details or full UPI credentials; only the VPA needed to generate the QR code for receiving payments.
B. Information Collected Automatically:
Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including the device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information. This helps us ensure compatibility and improve app performance.
Usage Information: We may collect information about how you use the App, such as the features you access and the time spent on the App. This helps us understand user behavior and improve the user experience.
We do not collect any information for sending notifications as the App does not support automated notification features.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the App: To operate, maintain, and provide you with the features and functionalities of the Crebit App, including managing your digital ledger, customer accounts, and transactions.
To Facilitate Payments: To generate custom payment QR codes based on your provided UPI ID, which you can then share with your customers to receive payments.
Account Management: To manage your user account, including sign-up, login, and ensuring the security of your data.
To Improve the App: To understand user trends, debug, and enhance the performance, features, and user experience of the App.
Security and Fraud Prevention: To protect the security and integrity of the App, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms and conditions.
Communication: To respond to your inquiries, provide support, or send you important updates regarding the App (though the App itself does not send automated notifications).
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
With Your Consent: We may share your information when you give us explicit consent to do so, such as when you choose to share a payment QR code via WhatsApp.
Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting providers, cloud storage providers, or analytics services. These providers are obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Our App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a Child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
