CreatorLift ("the extension") is a Chrome extension designed to help YouTube creators analyze video performance and generate optimized titles and hooks using AI.

This Privacy Policy explains how the extension handles user data.

1. Data Collection

CreatorLift does not collect, store, or sell personal user data.

The extension does not collect:

CreatorLift operates directly within the user's browser.

2. Website Data Access

CreatorLift accesses information available on YouTube video pages in order to provide its functionality.

• Channel name
  
  

This information is read locally in the user's browser and is not stored or transmitted to external servers by CreatorLift.

3. AI API Usage

CreatorLift allows users to optionally connect their own AI API keys (for example OpenAI or Anthropic).

When the user requests AI-generated content (such as titles or hooks):

• the prompt is sent directly from the user's browser to the selected AI provider
  
  

• the request is processed by the external API provider
  
  

• CreatorLift does not store these requests
  
  

Users are responsible for their own API keys and usage with these services.

4. Data Storage

CreatorLift uses Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage) only to store:

• user preferences
  
  

• selected AI provider
  
  

• user API keys (stored locally in the browser)
  
  

This data remains on the user's device and is not transmitted to the developer.

5. Data Sharing

CreatorLift does not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties.

The extension does not perform analytics tracking or advertising tracking.

6. Third-Party Services

When users choose to use AI features, requests may be sent to external AI providers such as:

These services operate under their own privacy policies.

7. Security

CreatorLift is designed to operate locally in the browser and does not maintain external databases containing user data.
