Hansika Motwani is a south Indian actress who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry. She began her acting career as a child artiste in the 2003 film, Koi… Mil Gaya, and starred in a number of Tamil films thereafter. Her breakthrough role was in the 2007 romance film, Hero the real hero. Hansika was later noted for her performances in the commercially successful films Singam 2 (2013) and Velayudham (2011), and the critically acclaimed films Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (2012). She has also starred in several Hindi films.
