Hi! My name is Monique Mayeux, owner of Creative Sewing.

I am a teacher, Home Economist and sewing enthusiast! My goal is to promote a love for all things sewing and quilting and help clients to grow in skills.

I have been a teacher for over 20 years and have taught Home Economics, Special Education and Preschool. I am excited to be able combine that experience with my lifelong love for sewing into a business.

Growing up, my sisters and I learned to sew by sitting next to our mother while she sewed. We all continue to sew together today. My children also love to join in the fun. I decided to open Creative Sewing to offer sewing lessons for clients of all ages.
