Welcome to the homepage of this year's Creative CityScape, Creative City Public Charter's School annual festival of the arts, crafts, and community celebration! Each year at this time, our lovely Park Heights campus is usually lively-decorated and bursting with the energy of our school families and community neighbors enjoying arts-themed activities, creative crafts, and just plain old fun! This year, we are honored to bring this to you via Zoom and offer space for us all to not only celebrate the end of the school year, but also reflect on all that has transpired in the past few months.

Let's all come together at noon to celebrate the beginning of our event and summer with a meditation led by Maria Broom.

At 12:15, 1:15 and 2:15, join sessions in music, visual arts, and dance. Don't have fancy art supplies? No worries! The workshop guides will be keeping things simple to make sure we can all participate.

Then let's all come back together at 3pm to close out the event and leave all our worries behind (if only for an hour) at the Creative CityEscape dance party with DJ 5Starr!

12:00 PM -12:15 PM

Supplies needed : 5 to 8 pieces of paper, anything to draw with (crayons , markers, pencils , etc.), your imagination
Chris Johnson is the 2019-2020 Artist-in-Residence at the Greenmount West Community Center. He is currently completing his MFA in Community Arts at MICA.
