How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
If you want the longest battery life and the most modern wireless feature set, choose Creative Zen Hybrid Gen; if you need a wired backup, a travel adapter and a hard case in the box, choose Logilink Headphones Vers 6.0.
• Creative Zen Hybrid Gen — biggest strength: very long battery life (up to 70 hours rated, up to 75 hours quoted in the product description) plus Bluetooth 5.4 and multipoint pairing to two devices at once.
• Creative Zen Hybrid Gen — biggest trade-off: wireless only — there is no 3.5 mm headphone jack, so a flat battery means you fall back on USB audio rather than a plain analogue cable.
• Logilink Headphones Vers 6.0 — biggest strength: a genuinely travel-ready bundle — USB-C cable, 3.5 mm audio cable, airplane adapter and a carrying case, plus 95% (up to 35 dB) hybrid noise reduction.
• Logilink Headphones Vers 6.0 — biggest trade-off: shorter stamina (up to 40 hours, 30 with ANC and Bluetooth running) and a more basic control set with no app-based tuning mentioned.
• Who each pick is for: Creative Zen Hybrid Gen for people who hate charging and want app customisation; Logilink Headphones Vers 6.0 for frequent flyers and anyone who wants a cable option and a case without buying extras.
This is the headphone for the person who treats charging as an inconvenience. Creative rates it at up to 70 hours of playback (the description goes as far as 75 hours on a single charge), and that figure is measured with ANC off. Even if you use Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation constantly, you are looking at days of listening between charges rather than hours. That is the single most persuasive number on the sheet, and it is the reason I would point most commuters and home-office workers here first.
Comfort looks well considered: over-ear fabric, leather and memory foam earcups on an adjustable headband, at 9.12 ounces. Skip this one if you insist on a wired connection — there is no headphone jack — or if you want a carry case and airplane adapter included. They are not part of the bundle here.
Logilink Headphones Vers 6.0: Who It's For
The Logilink BT0081 is built around travel. The accessory list tells the story: USB-C charging cable, 3.5 mm audio cable, airplane adapter and a carrying case, all in the box. That combination is exactly what you want on a long-haul flight — plug into the seat-back entertainment system with the adapter, or use the analogue cable when you would rather not burn battery at all. The headphones also fold, which makes the case genuinely useful rather than decorative.
Its Hybrid ANC uses the same two-microphone approach as the Creative: feedforward (a microphone outside) plus feedback (a microphone inside), which detects noise before it reaches your ear and corrects again inside. Logilink quotes a 95% noise reduction rate, up to 35 dB — the same ceiling figure as the Creative. Battery is up to 40 hours, dropping to 30 hours with ANC and Bluetooth both running, with 100 hours of standby and a 2.5-hour charge time from a 600 mAh cell. The 40 mm drivers have a 32 ohm impedance, and Bluetooth range is quoted at up to 10 m (33 feet). System support covers Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and Chrome OS.
Skip it if battery life is your top priority, or if you want app-based EQ and multipoint pairing — neither is listed here. The weight is also higher on paper at 262 g.
Side-by-Side: Which Should You Choose?
• Best for travel accessories → Logilink Headphones Vers 6.0. Airplane adapter, 3.5 mm cable and carrying case are all included.
• Best for wired listening → Logilink Headphones Vers 6.0. It has a 3.5 mm audio cable; the Creative has no headphone jack at all.
• Best for modern wireless features → Creative Zen Hybrid Gen. Bluetooth 5.4 and multipoint pairing for two devices at once.
• Best for sound personalisation → Creative Zen Hybrid Gen. The Creative app offers an EQ module and customisable button functions; no app tuning is listed for the Logilink.
• Best for noise cancellation → a tie on paper. Both quote up to 35 dB of hybrid ANC reduction, so the difference is in implementation and fit, not the headline number.
• Best for lighter on the head → Creative Zen Hybrid Gen. 9.12 ounces against 262 g for the Logilink.
• Best for folding and stowing → Logilink Headphones Vers 6.0. It folds and ships with a protective case.
In my opinion, the Creative Zen Hybrid Gen is the one I would buy. Two reasons decide it: the battery advantage is enormous — roughly double the Logilink's runtime — and Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint is the more future-proof wireless setup. The Creative app's EQ also means you can shape the sound to taste rather than accepting the factory tuning. The Logilink is the better travel kit thanks to the cable, adapter and case, so if you fly often or want a wired fallback, buy it instead. But for everyday listening, the Creative wins on stamina and features.
It depends on what you value. On paper the Creative doubles the battery life and adds multipoint plus app EQ; the Logilink counters with a cable, airplane adapter and case. Check the current price on Amazon for both, since that gap changes the maths.
Both quote hybrid ANC with a reduction of up to 35 dB, and both use outside and inside microphones. The Logilink expresses the same figure as a 95% reduction rate. Real-world results will differ by fit and environment, not by the spec sheet.
Not through a headphone jack — it has none. It is a wireless Bluetooth headphone, and Creative notes USB audio as the way to keep listening when the battery is flat. The Logilink, by contrast, includes a 3.5 mm audio cable.
Creative Zen Hybrid Gen, clearly: up to 70 hours rated (up to 75 hours quoted in the description) versus up to 40 hours for the Logilink, which falls to around 30 hours with ANC and Bluetooth running.
