We had a blast with our glow in the dark party! The kids had amazing dance moves and where the life of the party. 

On Wednesday morning we had a donut eating contest as part of our party! The kids had so much fun eating donuts without there hands!! They did a great job and many friends had some funny donut faces:) 



CC Engineers

PSCC kids thought critically to figure out this fall themed challenge!  

Each child was given a tube, popsicle sticks and pom poms and used their wits to create apple trees!

Creative Choices Priest Street kids started the school year creatively with a paper plate apple project! 



Each child used their own skills to tear paper and arrange it to make the most amazing apples!

Science Fun!

In this Science activity the students charged a balloon and could magically make butterfly wings flutter up and down.

Blubber Science Experiment 

The students experienced firsthand how arctic animals stay warm.

We used ice water, shortening as our skin/fur. We placed our hand inside a baggie then into the blubber then into the ice water

This month's Fun Friday was all about friendship. 

We made bracelets for each other, kindness rocks, friendship tree and played games about kindness and friendship 

Our STEM challenge this month was a LEGO Heart.

Ice Fishing!

They caught a live one!!!! We had fun with our ice fishing experience 

Cook's Corner

For our Cooks Corner morning activity we made tic tac toe boards using graham crackers and conversation hearts. For the afternoon, we made rice krispie legos.

Cooks Corner January

The students have so much fun being involved in making food. They LOVE Cooks Corner.


This week we made apple boats and fish on a log.

Connor loves to make creative creations!

In this STEM experiment, water can travel from one cup to another without them being close together or one directly above the other. The students found this to be fascinating. 

Winter Art Directed Draw

The students created a snowman while following step by step directions for our directed drawing activity!

Connor constructed a boy and a girl image using our hexi clips.  He was also very proud of his lightning storm picture!  

Snowy Winter Town

Using our creativity,  the students constructed a snowy winter town. We used an assortment of construction paper for the buildings and cotton balls for the snow on the roof top. 

Winter Candy Houses

The kids LOVED making a candy winter tree. We used frosting like it was glue and stuck our assorted pieces of candy on our trees.

Our Art scene this month was inspired by George Seurat. He was known

for his painting techniques, such as pointillism. The students had fun

using his technique with qtips to complete our Art scene.

Sugar cube painting fun!

The kids were able to recreate dinosaur fossils using assorted pieces of pasta and popcorn kernels.

Every monday we have Music and Drama. This week we made our homemade

tambourines. We decorated them and then filled the plate using

skittles!! Then we sealed them up and had so much fun making noise!

We used pipe cleaners for the tree and foam pieces for the leaves.  

Artful Enrichment

This week we learned how to use our tearing skills to create a kangaroo.

Fun fact about Kangaroos: Most kangaroos are left handed.

Three Little Pigs Architectural Challenge

The Big Bad Wolf is Coming!

The students were challenged to work together to make strong and sturdy houses for our 3 Little Pigs.

We tested out our houses with The Big Bad Wolf 

Straw house was made using scraps and play dough.

Stone house was made out of duplo  blocks.

(fan) The “Stone” house blew down. All other houses survived!!

Glass house was made using magnatiles.

This weeks enrichment, we used oil pastels to create a beautiful swan. 

Fun Fact about Swans: In the wild, swans can live to be over 20 years old!

Science Day!

This week we enjoyed watching Dancing beads (water and an antacid tablet)and Foaming Dragons (vinegar,dish soap, food coloring and baking soda)!

They loved watching the immediate fizzing of both experiments and there was a ton of excitement when the beads started to dance and the dragons started to erupt!

Egg Drop Challenge

The students worked together in groups to come up with a safe landing for our friend Mr. Egg.

Our winning group for this STEM challenge was Cooper, David, and Camden.

September's Fun Friday: Fall Carnival

Our stations included: Bean bag toss for prizes, Pin the nose on the Scarecrow, Caramel Apple craft and Sand Art!!

Cooks' Corner

Apple Pie in a Cup

The students enjoyed making their very own serving of apple pie in a cup.

We started with graham cracker crumbs, then added some apple pie filling and topped it with whip cream. Mix it all together and you have a yummy treat!

Draw and Tell Stories Enrichment with Miss Jacee

The students listen to a “draw and tell” story and make predictions about the drawing throughout the story. This week we drew a monkey and it was about a banana cream pie. 

New Game Day: Balloon Keepie Uppie

The students were challenged to keep the balloon up in the air and to make sure it didn't touch the floor. Last one standing was the winner and received a prize!

Fruit Creatures 

The students learned how to chop and cut up fruit in this fun cooking activity.

The best part after cutting up the fruit, we were able to make Fruit Creatures and eat them!!!

This delicious treat was given a thumbs up of approval.

Pepper, Water, and Soap Science Experiment!

The students enjoyed this experiment involving dish soap, water and black pepper. The reaction the students gave once they saw what happens when you dip your finger into the dish soap then into the water with black pepper was a lot of fun!!

Baking Soda and Vinegar Balloon Experiment

The students were fascinated by creating a reaction between the baking soda and vinegar!! Adding a balloon to the mix just makes it a whole lot more enjoyable. The experiment uses that reaction to blow up a balloon!!! Thanks to my helpers Cooper, Emma, and Sophia!!

Bald Eagle

Students did a wonderful job with the directed artwork image of our American Bald Eagle project.  

Skittles Experiment 

This fun experiment uses colorful candy to create a rainbow!!

Once we added water to our plate, we got to watch the colors start to spread from the skittles!!

Fruit & Cracker Pizza

Avery and Giselle became quite the little chefs!!

The students enjoyed making their very own fruit and cracker pizza using ritz crackers, cream cheese, blueberries and raspberries.

Raised Salt Paintings

The students were fascinated about painting on top of glue and salt using watercolors. 

The students started with using glue to make their initial, next we sprinkled salt on top and shook it all over the glue, then we applied the watercolors. 

Which paper column will hold up the most books?

Triangle? Circle? Square?

Liam, Avery and Madison put it to the test and the strongest paper column to hold 5 books without falling down was... THE CIRCLE!!!! Great job!!

Artful Enrichment Week 1!

In this Enrichment students learned how to draw a carnival horse step by step using colored pencils.

The students will be using different mediums each week for different animals.

We also learned some fun facts about horses!! 

Fun Fact: Did you know horses can’t breathe through their mouths!?
