Pancake Party!

We had a pancake party to celebrate our good behavior!! 

Getting Wild at Northwest!

The fun Friday for April was Wild Wild West themed! We made popsicle stick cacti, played horseshoes and with Lincoln logs, and colored so Wild West coloring pages!

Half Day Fun!

Northwest friends had some fun making peep cars on the half day.

NW friends prepared for St Patrick’s Day by making handprint leprechauns and fizzy rainbows!

Groundhog Day Treats

To celebrate Groundhog Day, we made groundhog donut treats!

Blast from the Past! 

Northwest kids had a decades day fun Friday. We did different activities from different decades. We played checkers, made thaumatropes, a record craft and a bugs bunny directed drawing!

Northwest CC friends had tons of fun making holiday trees. Afterwards we enjoyed some cookies and hot cocoa! It was a sweet time!






Students at NW have been busy getting crafty! We’ve made snowy owls and handprint snowmen.

We had a super yummy marshmallow snowman cooks corner this week!






We had a superhero party where we made capes, shields, masks, and mini heroes. We also each found out our special super hero name! 

NW Stemtastic Activities with the Groton School

3rd, 4th, and 5th graders having been doing different STEAM activities with helpful hands from the Groton School. They have focused on color, bridges, and other fun projects! 

All About Color First Grade Enrichment

First graders have been spending time over the last few weeks learning about color and crafting different Art Projects with Miss Kayla D.

2nd Grade DNA Enrichment Fun!

The seconds graders have been learning about DNA and how it’s the building block of life. We made a yummy DNA model out of twizzlers and gummy bears! 

Slushy Plushy Party

The kids at NW earned a marble party and voted on a Slushy Plushy party. They enjoyed a slushy at snack time and hanging out with their plushies for the afternoon!

We had a SUPER time celebrating our Superhero Fun Friday! Snack was set up buffet style so the kids could make their own plate of goodies. Along with our super snack we learned our Superhero names, designed our own capes & of course trained like superheroes in the gym! :)  

We felt extra lucky eating our St. Patty’s Mix of popcorn, lucky charms, fruit loops & mini marshmallows! 

And of course Mr. Harry Potter himself! (With mini HP) 

One of our 5th graders made this awesome RESPECT poster that's hanging in the front lobby! Nice work!!  

Our CC friends looked awesome dressing up as their favorite storybook character! Here we have Luna Lovegood and Miss Harry Potter!
