Chess Club
We were very excited to add a Chess Club to our Quiet Time activities and it was a huge success!
Grades 4 + 5 made a movie during an enrichment with Miss Karli! The title of the movie is Don’t Be Shell-fish and is all about being selfless. They worked so hard on their productions and we are proud of them!
Frances Drake will be starting a basketball enrichment for Grade 2 on Monday afternoons during Choice Time (4:40-5:10). Interested students should do their best to attend each week to earn a special party at the end of the enrichment. This activity will be offered to other grade levels throughout the school year.
The kids earned a party so we created a workshop where they could make their own toys! We made paper stuffed animals, yarn monsters and fortune tellers.
For a science experiment, we made unpoppable bubbles during our Early Release program!
Fall means all things apples! We made our own apple buddies during our morning craft!

Party Time!
Our morning program earned a party filled with art and games! Creative Choices also helped make signs for Frances Drake’s students who competed in the Special Olympics. Thank you to our volunteers!
We finished up the week making Rainbow Veggie Sushi and 3D Ladybugs!

Every Monday afternoon, high school students from the Groton School invite our 4th and 5th graders to participate in fun STEAM activities! Here we are making music with jars, experimenting how different amounts of water can change its pitch.

Our Fun Friday theme was Be Lucky! We made Shamrock Shakes and shooting stars.
Happy Holidays from Creative Choices! We finished off the year making our own snow globes and holiday houses. It’s been a great 2021 and we are excited for 2022!
In honor of Thanksgiving, Creative Choices will be having a "family-themed" Fun Friday! The students will be participating in activities related to teamwork, communication, and respect for one another. We can't wait!
