Our mission here at Creating Connections of California is to bring people aged 16 and over with disabilities together. Help them flourish in life through creating new friendships, love connections, and building a second family. Our goal is to open a whole new world to those who feel different and show them that they, too, are incredible in every way.
We also provide assistance in connecting individuals and their families with additional organizations/resources within the disabled community.

About Us
Creating Connections of California was founded by my mother determined to help her adult special needs son, my brother, get the most out of life. Partnered with me, her daughter, we set off on a mission to bring this much needed non-profit organization to their community.
When our search began, we quickly discovered that California didn't have much to offer for people over the age of eighteen living with developmental or physical disabilities, who wanted to branch out socially. After working with the local organizations designed to help those in need with career and life skills, we decided to take it one step further. So Creating Connections was born! We want to create a space where people aged sixteen and older with disabilities can do more and find more in life aside from just work or home. Build friendships that last a lifetime, make memories, and maybe even find a love connection. Family and friends are what matter most in this world, and each and every person deserves the chance to have that.

More Information About Our Events
Our Meet and Greet events are free to all and funded strictly from donations. All our other events such as bowling or game night will have a one-time sign up fee to participate. This ensures we are able to host future events.
Creating Connections of California is a non-profit. All of our events are organized and paid for by donations and the sign up fees we charge. Our fees will range from $15-$50 based on the event type and bundles offered.

Creating Connections of California is a Non-Profit, meaning all activities, events, assistance, is directly funded through donations! We are so grateful for any and all donations as this is what keeps us going and allows us to contiue to work within our community.
