This portrait of myself was created out of pure vision, inspiration and poetry. Showing my dreams and thoughts through the creative process is beautiful.

Self expression of oneself is important, awareness of oneself is impactful, loving who you are and where you came from is powerful. As a visionary I speak in many ways, my inspiration pour into my heart and others as the creativity starts to flow.

This piece is a portrait of my dear friend Dominique Ashanti, who is also an amazing artist. I wanted to honor her and all her greatness, grace and beauty she brings to my creative process. She is an amazing black artist, who is a creative force that deserves to be celebrated.
