Cram AI (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is an AI-powered smart study assistant that allows students to generate smart notes, mind maps, flashcards, quizzes, and more from their own content. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

By using Cram AI, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. User-Generated Content (Stored Locally Only)

All content you create inside the app is stored locally on your device only.
This includes:

• Smart notes

• PDFs, images, and text you upload

• Mind maps, flashcards, quizzes

• Feynman explanation recordings

• History of generated outputs

We do NOT store this data on any server.
We do NOT have access to your notes or files.

1.2. Login Information (Firebase Authentication)

We use Firebase Authentication only for:

• Apple login

• Google login

• Providing 2 free trials per user

• Managing account identity for subscription access

We do not store your email, name, or profile picture outside Firebase Authentication.

1.3. Subscription Information (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat to manage purchases for:

• Weekly plan ($4.99)

• Monthly plan ($9.99)

• Yearly plan ($49.99)

RevenueCat collects:

• Purchase receipts

• Subscription status

• Basic device identifiers (for fraud prevention)

RevenueCat does not receive your notes or study content.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1. AI Processing

To generate:

• Smart notes

• Mind maps

• Flashcards

• Quizzes

• Feynman Method feedback

• AI Chat Assistant

we send only the necessary text content to our AI provider (Gemini API).

We do NOT send:

• User identity

• Login data

• Payment data

• Device data

• Your local files (PDFs/images/audio).
  → Only extracted text is sent when needed.

The AI provider processes the input and returns the result.
We do not use your data to train any AI model.

3. No Ads

Cram AI does not show advertisements.
We do not share data for ad tracking.

4. Analytics

We use:

• Firebase (Authentication only; no Analytics)

• RevenueCat (subscription events only)

We do not use:

• Google Analytics

• Firebase Analytics

• Third-party tracking SDKs

No behavioral tracking or profiling is performed.

5. Data Security

Even though your data stays on your device, we take security seriously.

• No personal study data is stored on servers

• Data sent to AI (Gemini API) is encrypted in transit

• Login and purchase data follow Google, Apple, Firebase, and RevenueCat security standards

You are responsible for securing your device with a passcode or lock.

6. Children’s Privacy

Cram AI is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect or process personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

You may:

• Delete the app → immediately removes all local data

• Contact us to delete Firebase login identity

• Cancel your subscription anytime via the App Store / Play Store

We do not store any other data that can be deleted.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally.
The updated version will be available in the app and on our website.
Continued use of the app means you accept the changes.
