ATTENTION CAMPERS!!
Dates have been set for 2020!
AUGUST 13TH - 16TH!
HISTORY
This camp was started in 1947 by the County Extension Offices from the Northwestern area of Ohio. Camp was originally held at Camp Palmer (4-H Camp). It was a way for ladies to get together, compare recipes, meet new people and have fun.
There’s no cooking, no cleaning, no dishes, no laundry, no noisy neighbors and barking dogs! No husbands, boyfriends, kids, siblings, or others to take care of.
Just take off your shoes, sit down, relax, and enjoy nature’s beauty!
If this is what you need, we would like to invite you to our Annual Craft and Leisure Camp held at Widewater in Henry County.
We changed names and places where the camp is held several years ago when we wanted a little more comfortable surroundings and a place to expand on our craft selection. Camp is open to women ages 18 and older and is usually held the second weekend in August.
