If you want a versatile, flat surface organizer for keys and sunglasses on your motorcycle or car dashboard, choose Craedli Rectangular Car Dashboard; if you need a rigid, suction-cup-ready mount specifically designed to hold a phone steady during high-speed riding, choose Generic Car Dash Sticky.
• Craedli Rectangular Car Dashboard: Its biggest strength is the soft, flexible PVC grip that holds loose items like coins and glasses without scratching them, but it offers no structural support for heavy phones. This pick is for riders who need a general storage mat for small essentials.
• Generic Car Dash Sticky: Its biggest strength is the robust PC bracket and suction cup system that locks devices in place, but it requires a smooth surface for installation and lacks the soft texture for delicate objects. This pick is for riders who prioritize a secure, hands-free phone viewing angle.
The Craedli Rectangular Car Dashboard Anti Slip Mat is fundamentally a storage solution rather than a mounting rig. With dimensions of approximately 10.43 by 5.78 inches, this mat covers a significant portion of a vehicle's center console or dashboard, creating a dedicated zone for everyday carry items. The key feature here is the grid pattern and the premium PVC construction. This material provides a soft texture with excellent resistance to heat and moisture, which is crucial when dealing with electronics or glassware left in direct sunlight. Unlike hard plastic mounts that can slip or scratch surfaces, this pad uses surface traction to keep phones, coins, keys, and sunglasses securely in place even during sharp turns or on uneven roads.
This product shines in scenarios where you have multiple small items that need to stay put but don't require a specific viewing angle. The flexible structure helps maintain its shape during regular use, making it ideal for motorcycles where vibration is constant. Because it relies on friction rather than mechanical clamps, it won't damage delicate screens or camera lenses. You simply place it on a clean, flat surface and start using it immediately.
You should buy the Craedli if you ride a motorcycle or drive a sedan where you frequently reach for your keys, wallet, or sunglasses while parked or stopped. It adds a simple, modern touch to your vehicle interior with its creative floor pattern, enhancing styling while helping conceal minor marks and imperfections on consoles. However, you should skip this product if your primary goal is to watch navigation maps or videos while moving at speed. Since it is a flat mat without a raised stand or adjustable arm, it cannot elevate a device to an ergonomic viewing height. If you need your phone held up high so you can see the road ahead without looking down, this mat will not solve that problem.

The Generic Car Dash Sticky Pad operates on a completely different principle. Instead of a flat mat for loose items, this is a structural mount built around a robust PC material bracket. The design features a curved shape that increases contact surfaces with the dashboard, paired with a suction cup system that has a good adsorption effect. This combination creates a hard and sturdy system intended to prevent any possible slipping or shaking. For a motorcyclist, this distinction is vital; the rigid nature of the PC bracket ensures that your device remains stable even when the bike encounters bumps or when you are leaning into corners.
Durability is a major selling point for this unit. It boasts impressive durability stability because it is resistant to both high and low temperatures. This means you can leave it mounted on your dash without worrying about the materials warping or the adhesive failing in the summer heat or freezing winter cold. The installation process involves gluing the base in place using double-sided tape, inserting the bracket, and adjusting the angle. Once installed, it offers an adjustable and removable stand that ensures usage on multiple surfaces. A significant advantage here is the promise of leaving no trace; the adhesive peels off effortlessly without damaging the car's finish or affecting its aesthetics, provided you remove it correctly.
This product is specifically for riders who treat their smartphone as a primary navigation tool. The "sticky" aspect refers to the mounting mechanism that secures the device firmly against gravity and inertia. If you need to check directions quickly while riding, the ability to adjust the angle and the firm holding structure make this the superior choice. It is also suitable for users who want a sleek look, as the exquisite craftsmanship adds a touch of elegance compared to bulky clip-on holders. However, this is not a solution for organizing loose clutter. You cannot place random keys or sunglasses on this pad; it is engineered solely to hold a device via the bracket and suction cup interface.
• Best for loose item organization → Craedli Rectangular Car Dashboard (its soft grip handles keys, coins, and glasses perfectly).
• Best for secure phone mounting → Generic Car Dash Sticky (the rigid PC bracket prevents shaking and keeps the screen visible).
• Best for heat and moisture resistance → Craedli Rectangular Car Dashboard (PVC material handles temperature changes well for general storage).
• Best for long-term structural stability → Generic Car Dash Sticky (high and low temperature resistant bracket maintains a firm hold).
• Best for tool-free, immediate use → Craedli Rectangular Car Dashboard (just place it down; no glue or screws required).
• Best for adjustable viewing angles → Generic Car Dash Sticky (you can tilt and rotate the bracket to find the perfect sightline).
• Best for concealing dashboard scratches → Craedli Rectangular Car Dashboard (the mat covers imperfections while protecting the surface underneath).
• Best for easy removal without residue → Generic Car Dash Sticky (designed to peel off effortlessly, leaving no trace behind).
In my opinion, for a motorcycle rider who needs to keep their phone accessible for navigation without taking their hands off the handlebars, the Generic Car Dash Sticky is the clear winner. The rigid PC bracket and suction cup system provide the stability required for safe riding, whereas the flat mat from Craedli cannot offer the necessary elevation or anti-slip security for a device under vibration. However, if you only need a place to stash your keys and sunglasses while parked, the Craedli mat is the more practical choice. I would recommend the Generic option for anyone prioritizing safety and visibility on the road, specifically for motorcycles where every inch of dashboard space matters.
Yes, the Craedli mat provides strong surface traction to help keep phones in place, but it does not hold them upright or at an angle, so they may slide if the bike tilts sharply.
No, the product is designed to stick securely to smooth surfaces and peel off effortlessly without leaving a trace or damaging the car's finish.
Both are marketed for cars, but the Craedli mat fits most vehicles including SUVs and trucks, and the Generic mount is designed for smooth surfaces, making both viable for motorcycles depending on your specific need for storage versus mounting.
The Craedli Rectangular Car Dashboard uses PVC with excellent heat resistance, while the Generic Car Dash Sticky is also described as high and low temperature resistant, so both should perform well in heat.
