01. Scope and operator

This policy applies to the Android application Local Text Redaction Pad, published by Cp Digital ApS.

Core principle: text redaction is performed on the device. Cp Digital ApS does not operate an account system or cloud redaction service for this app.

02. Information the app handles

The app can process text that you intentionally paste, type, or open through the Android file picker. Depending on your content, that text may contain personal or sensitive information such as email addresses, phone numbers, payment-card-like number patterns, account identifiers, names, project codes, client names, or custom phrases.

This content is processed for the purpose of finding configured patterns and producing a redacted version. The app may also store drafts, enabled rule settings, and custom phrase rules in local app storage so that you can continue your work later.

Cp Digital ApS does not receive this content through an app account, cloud sync, analytics service, advertising service, or remote text-processing backend.

03. User-selected files and local storage

Opening files

Local Text Redaction Pad uses the Android system file picker for files that you explicitly choose. This allows the app to work with the selected file without requesting broad access to all files on your device.

Exporting redacted text

When you choose to export a redacted result, the app uses a user-directed system file flow so that you select the destination or file location. Export only occurs when you initiate it.

App-local data

Drafts and custom redaction rules may be kept in the app's local storage. They remain associated with the installed app unless you delete them using available app controls, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app, subject to Android device behavior and any device-level backup settings outside the app's control.

04. Clipboard behavior

The app does not continuously monitor or read the clipboard in the background. Clipboard interaction occurs only when you deliberately paste text into the app or choose the app's copy function for a redacted result.

After you copy redacted text, that copied content is managed by the Android clipboard and may be accessible to other software according to your device, operating-system version, and installed applications.

05. Data collection, sale, and sharing

The app is not designed to collect or transmit your redaction content to Cp Digital ApS.

• No account registration or login is required.

• No cloud synchronization is provided.

• No contact, SMS, location, camera, microphone, notification, or accessibility access is required.

• No clipboard monitoring is performed.

• No personal data is sold or rented by the app.

06. Data retention and deletion

Because the app's working data is stored locally, retention is primarily controlled by you. You can remove drafts or custom rules through the app where corresponding controls are available. You can also clear the application's storage through Android settings or uninstall the app to remove app-local data from the device.

Files you export are stored at the location you select and remain there until you delete them. Content copied to the Android clipboard is controlled by the operating system after the copy action.

07. Security

Local processing reduces the need to send redaction content to a remote server. However, no device or storage mechanism can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate device security, including screen lock, operating-system updates, trusted applications, and secure handling of exported files.

Redaction is a utility function and should be reviewed before sharing a result. Pattern-based detection may not identify every sensitive item or may identify text that does not require redaction.

08. Children's privacy

Local Text Redaction Pad is a general-purpose text utility and is not specifically directed to children. The app does not provide an account system or intentionally collect children's personal information through a remote service.

09. Your choices and control

You decide what text to enter, which files to open, which redaction rules to enable, which custom phrases to save, whether to copy a result, and whether to export a file. You can stop using the app at any time and remove app-local information by clearing storage or uninstalling the app.

If you contact Cp Digital ApS by email, the information you include in that correspondence is handled only as needed to respond to your request and for legitimate administrative or legal purposes.

10. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the application's functionality, data practices, legal obligations, or distribution requirements change. The current version should be made available at the app's published Privacy Policy location. Material changes should be reflected by updating the effective date below.
