# Cozy Companion Privacy Policy

Cozy Companion stores habit progress, pet progress, rewards, settings, cosmetic selections, and purchase entitlement state locally on the device. In-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing.
## What the app stores
- habit titles, schedules, streaks, and completion history
- pet progress and equipped cosmetic state
- coins, gems, quests, and settings
- Google Play purchase entitlement state, including Premium Pass status and processed purchase keys used to prevent duplicate local grants
## What the app does not do in the current build
- no account login
- no cloud sync
- no ads SDK
- no analytics SDK
- no remote transmission of habit data from inside the app; purchase checkout is handled by Google Play Billing
## User controls
Users can remove local habit and cosmetic data by using **Reset Progress** inside the app settings. Google Play purchase records remain managed by Google Play; users can restore non-consumable purchases from the shop.
## Security, retention, and deletion
The app keeps the data listed above in local app storage on the user's device. Cozy Companion does not operate a backend for this build. Local app data remains on the device until the user resets progress, clears app data, or uninstalls the app. Google Play purchase records remain managed by Google Play.
## Children
Cozy Companion is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13.
## Changes
If future releases add account login, cloud sync, analytics, ads, crash reporting, or any other remote data processing, this policy and the Google Play Data safety answers must be updated before release.
