Cozy Autumn Coloring
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Android app Cozy Autumn Coloring (the "app"), published by Art Coloring (artcoloring.com, "we", "us"), handles information. It applies to all versions of the app.
At a glance
There is no account and no sign-up. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or photos.
Your artwork, progress and settings are stored on your device.
The app shows ads from Google AdMob and uses Google Firebase to understand how the app is used and to fix crashes. These Google services collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) and usage data.
Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent before ads are personalized. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
1. Information stored on your device
Your colored pictures and coloring progress
Unlocked pictures, palettes and brushes, your daily streak and recent colors
Your chosen color set, brush sizes and custom colors
Your settings, such as haptics and the daily reminder time
We do not receive this information. It stays in the app's private storage and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings. If Android backup is turned on for your device, Android may include this data in your personal Google backup; that backup is controlled by you and Google, and we cannot access it.
2. Information collected by third-party services
The app uses the following Google services. They collect information automatically while you use the app and process it under their own privacy policies.
Google AdMob (advertising). AdMob shows the ads that keep the app free. It may collect your device's advertising ID and app set ID; your IP address, which can be used to estimate your general location (such as country or city); device information such as model, operating system, language and screen size; and how you interact with ads (views and taps). Google uses this to show, limit, measure and, where you have agreed to it, personalize ads, and to prevent fraud.

Google Analytics for Firebase. Tells us how the app is used, for example which collections are opened, when a picture is finished, whether the daily reminder is turned on, and when ads are shown. It collects an app instance ID, the advertising ID where available, device model, operating system and app version, country, and these usage events. We use it only in aggregate to improve the app, not to identify you.
Firebase Crashlytics. If the app crashes or hits a serious error, Crashlytics sends a crash report with technical details (such as the stack trace, device model, operating system version, free memory and the app's state) and a Crashlytics installation ID. We use it only to find and fix bugs.
Firebase Remote Config. Downloads app settings from Firebase, such as the seasonal collection schedule, the color sets and how often ads may appear. It uses a Firebase installation ID.
Google Play. If the app asks you to rate it, the rating window is shown by Google Play, and your rating and review are handled by Google.

3. Ads, consent and your advertising ID
EEA, UK and Switzerland: when you first open the app, it shows a consent message from Google's User Messaging Platform. You can accept, reject or choose which purposes and partners you allow. If you do not consent to personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized ads, which use limited data (for example to limit how often an ad appears, to prevent fraud and to measure ads).
United States: where state privacy laws apply, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising in Settings → Privacy options.
Changing your choice: when consent applies to you, Settings → Privacy options reopens the consent form at any time.
Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings (usually under Google → Ads or Privacy → Ads). After it is deleted, apps can no longer use it to personalize ads.
4. Notifications
The optional "Remind me to color every day" reminder is scheduled on your device. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn the reminder on. No personal data is sent to us for this feature. You can turn it off in the app's Settings or in Android's notification settings.
5. Sharing your artwork
When you tap Share, the app creates an image or a timelapse video of your picture on your device and passes it to the app you choose (for example a messaging or social app). If you choose Save video to Gallery, the video is saved in your device's Movies folder. We do not receive a copy. The privacy policy of the app you share with applies.
6. How and why we use information
We use information for the purposes below. For users in the EEA and UK, the legal basis is shown after each purpose.
Showing personalized ads: based on your consent.
Showing non-personalized ads, limiting how often ads appear and preventing fraud: based on our legitimate interest in funding a free app.
Finding and fixing crashes: based on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working.
Understanding which features and pictures are used: based on our legitimate interest in improving the app.
Delivering app settings such as seasonal collections and color sets: based on our legitimate interest in running the app.
7. Who we share information with
We share information only with the Google services described above, which process it to provide their services. We do not sell your personal information for money. Under some US state laws, making device identifiers available for targeted advertising may count as a "sale" or "sharing"; you can opt out as described in section 3. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
8. How long information is kept
On your device: until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Google Analytics for Firebase: for the retention period set in our Analytics settings, no longer than 14 months.
Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports for 90 days.
Google AdMob: under Google's retention policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention
9. Security and international transfers
Data sent by these services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Google may process data in the United States and other countries, using safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use trusted providers and collect as little as possible.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Because we do not collect your name or contact details, the data above is linked only to random device identifiers, and we usually cannot connect it to you. The quickest ways to control it are:
Settings → Privacy options (where consent applies);
resetting or deleting your advertising ID;
uninstalling the app or clearing its data, which deletes everything stored on your device and stops all collection by the app.
For any other request, email us and we will help.
11. Children
The app is designed for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when the app gets new features. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
