< Sympathy >
To futher solidify the infrastructure to support Mun research is the continued development of transportation vehicles. Sympathy is a rather large platform designed for transporting external payloads not fit for a dedicated lander, but cannot be fitted to the current Shortcake Lander.
In addition, a small crane like structure and external platforms would allow for small base modules to be transported to the Mun’s regolith.
Aside from cargo transport is a displaced cab for visibility with a modest crew capacity of 5 for simple transport missions.
< Camp Fuel Mission Profile >
The Camp Fuel Model is a operation style for reusability that keeps the landing infrastructure in the sphere of the Mun. Fuel is transported with the crewed spacecraft in a separate tank designed for return and reusability.
< Operation Notes >
- Manually position and lock/unlock components before use
- For assymetric payload distribution, (Navball) yaw can be thrust trimmed with translation L/R
- Do not operate until in final configuration
- Requires external reusable tank replacement for continued use: separately docked before spacecraft docks with cab (see camp fuel model)
