< Twink >
It seems every PGS program is forever plagued by never having the first Block be suitable for long-term operation with the KU-966 Twink following the trend. The Twink is the Air Force of PGS’s dedicated fifth generation light multirole program as opposed to an airframe shared across branches, however, there were still short comings in their own airframe once it reached the first production model. This of course brought on heavy alterations which ironically brings it closer to the other airframes produced by PGS using similar design aspects such as the V-tail and fuselage structure used by the Hailstorm and the intake design seen in the Witchcraft. With these alterations brings a great improvement in performance and expanded operation scope while still maintaining the previous outset requirements of the Air Force branch like single seater operation and smaller airframe footprint.
