You can call Cox Account, Hold, and Technical Support at 888-570-1595. Or you can text 888-570-1595 for "quick responses."
You could try texting before trying to call them. If Cox customer service has you on a long wait, you can check to see if they responded to your text first.
That router can save you time.
Not all departments have the same availability.
You can only contact their Retention department Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. m. to 9 p.m. m., and on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. m. to 6 p.m. m.
Want to communicate with your billing and account services? You're not going to get to them on Saturday or Sunday. But you can talk to someone Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm.
All of these times are in the Eastern Time Zone. So if you're not in that time zone, you'll need to convert the times.
You can also call 888-570-1595 if you have questions about your bill. Cox does not specify when customer service members behind these lines are available. I recommend using the previous number for billing questions.

Be sure to call the correct department. Remember, if you have Cox Complete Care, you have a single number to call.
Please have your account number handy so the customer service representative can easily look up your information.
If you are calling about a specific device or equipment, call from an area of your home where you can see and interact with the device or equipment. For example, if you're calling about your cable TV reception, be in front of your TV and have the remote in front of you so you can work with the representative to run diagnostic tests.
Have a pen and paper handy so you can take notes during the call, including the names of the agents helping you, appointment or payment confirmation codes, and anything important that happens during the conversation. Also note the date and time of the call.
