Welcome to the CS Observatory, a site initiated and piloted by the RECOVER19 project. We set out noticing that a number of scholarly articles about aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic influenced policy and public opinion, yet have been heavily criticized, if not outright debunked, by other researchers, journalists, and competent members of the public. These corrections are often not as readily available as the original articles, and this repository aims to change that.
We started with an ad-hoc collection and are interested in your suggested additions and corrections. If you are interested in contributing or collaborating on this effort, including by suggesting relevant articles in need of a response, please contact [removed during double-blind peer review of an article about the observatory].
Disclaimer: Among the responses, we included a variety of materials; listing these items below does not imply an endorsement of any or all of their claims or authors, rather we find them important and informative enough to be considered in future studies or policy analyses that employ the original articles.
