His outward fellowship to all the players is and will always be admired by all the coaches in addition to the strong work ethic that he exhibits on a daily basis is going to be greatly missed. This past Friday night he rushed for 204 yards on 14 rushing attempts while scoring three touchdowns and a two-point conversion. Coach John Greiner says: “Dillon is a team captain, and he’s going to the Army, which says a lot about him. He’s just the consummate team player. He switched positions for us to accommodate some of the players that got nicked up and banged up and moved from safety to linebacker to defensive tackle, and he probably had the best game I’ve ever seen out of an interior defensive lineman in a long, long time. He proved his weight in gold playing D-line but also running fullback for us as a starter. He’s also on the kickoff team, and he’s the long snapper for punts and going down and making tackles, which shows you a lot. He never takes a play off at all, which is proven by how many positions he plays. I have a saying – machines don’t stop, and he’s an example of that. He never stops going. He keeps going, going, going like a machine. I’m lucky to have the opportunity to coach him, and also the assistant coaches have done a great job coaching him up at the different positions he has played this season for us.
