Cotati Friends of the Laguna

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20:  CREEK WEEK event 

When: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

Where:  Start in either Pocket Park or on Benson Lane at the Laguna path

We are participating again this year in this annual regional event which covers the whole Russian River watershed and brings the community together to celebrate, clean, improve and explore local waterways.  See https://rrwatershed.org/project/creek-week/ 

Here in Cotati, in addition to removing trash from the Laguna de Santa Rosa, we'll be removing invasive non-native plants to help restore the local ecology.

For volunteers wishing to focus on trash removal along the Laguna channel, meet at the Gravenstein Way entrance to the Laguna. If you want to work on habitat restoration, you have the choice of meeting at either Pocket Park or Benson Lane.
