In 1953, GM executives accepted a suggestion by Myron Scott, then the assistant director of the Public Relations department, to name the company's new sports car after the corvette, a small maneuverable warship.[8] The first model, a convertible, was introduced at the 1953 GM Motorama as a concept car; production models went on sale later that year. In 1963, the second generation was introduced in coupe and convertible styles. Originally manufactured in Flint, Michigan, and St. Louis, Missouri, the Corvette has been produced in Bowling Green, Kentucky, since 1981, which is also the location of the National Corvette Museum.

Every interaction from viewing inventory, deciding to buy, buying my dream car, addressing after sales concerns and servicing our C7 was exceptional in every way. Even though residing 2 hours away Van Bortels team will be the only team servicing my corvette.

I knew I was going to need to be patient and wait for my new corvette. Matt from Van Bortel made it so easy. The car arrived with the expected delays except for the tornado. Matt arranged transportation, financing and everything else seamlessly.

Matt made buying a corvette from Van Bortel very easy. He was not pushy and let me do the talking .

He worked with me to make the deal happen.

In 2016, i was president of the rochester corvette club and and i was glad to welcome kitty as our new sponsor.

cant wait for the new corvette showroom and service area.

Just bought my third corvette in 40 years (owned my first for 20 years and my second for 20 years). Drove 70 miles to Van Bortel Chevrolet to purchase a new 2019 Vette. Matt Fagenbaum was an excellent salesman. He knew the details of each of the 80+ corvettes there. Answered all of my questions. In 20 years I will definitely buy my next Corvette there!

I have without exaggeration looked at over 2000-3000 corvettes online. I have come to the conclusion that you might as well just go to Matt Fagenbaum at Van Bortel. I just bought my second one their a Beautiful 2016. Matt is so easy and fair to deal with, I am a salesman myself and I know a good one when I see a Great one. They give fair trade in values and fair selling prices. Trust when I say save yourself some time and just call Matt.

For some one buying a Corvette new or used, this is the dealership that must be on your A list. Remember your homework prior and during your corvette buying experience is your responsibility. I got a great deal, offered options and have a Corvette I can be proud and excited about for a long time and a warranty plan to feel secure in my budget and maintaining the condition of my ride. Matt and John all worked hard to get me the Corvette and terms that met my high expectations.

I felt I was treated with exceptional professionalism. My salesperson answered all my questions and the manager was equally as helpful. I love my new corvette and highly recommend others to go and get theirs at this first rate dealership.
