If you want a durable, multi-platform gaming headset with high-fidelity audio and Bluetooth chat for construction site comms, choose Corsair HS70; if you need specialized TV listening with zero lip-sync delay and a massive 150-foot range for moving around the house or job site, choose Tianfucen BKM400.
• Corsair HS70: Delivers superior sound fidelity with custom-tuned 50mm drivers and versatile connectivity (USB, 3.5mm, Bluetooth), but lacks the specific low-latency optimization required for perfect TV synchronization.
• Tianfucen BKM400: Offers an impressive 40-hour battery life and ultra-low latency (<40ms) specifically tuned for TV watching with no pairing hassle, yet it omits advanced gaming features like surround sound processing.
• Pick the Corsair if you are a gamer or professional needing robust multipoint headphones for construction work that can switch between PC, console, and mobile devices seamlessly.
• Pick the Tianfucen if your primary goal is crystal-clear dialogue for seniors or families watching TV while moving freely around large spaces without worrying about audio lag.
The Corsair HS70 BLUETOOTH is engineered for users who demand versatility across multiple platforms. Its core strength lies in its ability to bridge the gap between wired high-fidelity gaming and wireless convenience. You can connect via high-fidelity 24bit/96kHz USB or 3.5mm cables for game audio on consoles like Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch, while simultaneously using Bluetooth 4.2 to chat on your mobile device. This dual-connectivity model makes it one of the few sets capable of functioning as true multipoint headphones for construction work where you might need to listen to music or calls from a phone while monitoring a PC or tablet nearby.
Comfort is a major design priority here, featuring plush memory foam ear cups fitted into adjustable ear cups. The enclosure utilizes aluminum materials, suggesting a lightweight yet durable build intended to withstand the rigors of long sessions. Whether you are playing video games for hours or wearing them during a long shift, the weight distribution aims to prevent fatigue. The 50mm neodymium audio drivers are custom-tuned to deliver superb sound quality with a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz, ensuring you hear every detail in the battlefield or the nuances of a conversation.

However, this headset has specific limitations regarding microphone functionality. Additionally, any device you pair must support Bluetooth microphone connectivity for voice chat to work wirelessly. If you rely heavily on wireless voice chat across all platforms without a wired fallback, you will need to verify compatibility before purchasing. It is best suited for gamers and professionals who value sound clarity and platform flexibility over dedicated television-specific features.
The Tianfucen BKM400 is designed with a singular, focused purpose: delivering an immersive TV experience without the friction of modern pairing protocols. Unlike standard Bluetooth headphones that require complex setup, these feature a "Plug & Play" philosophy. They come with a USB transmitter that connects directly to your TV via Optical, AUX (3.5mm), RCA, or USB outputs. Once set up, the headphones auto-reconnect instantly when turned on, eliminating the need for resetting or tech skills. This makes them exceptionally accessible for seniors or families who simply want to watch content without fiddling with settings.
A standout feature for anyone working in environments where they move around is the wireless range. The BKM400 supports a stable connection up to 150 feet (50 meters). You can walk through walls and floors to grab snacks, clean up, or even step outside the immediate living area while keeping the audio perfectly synced. This range is significantly more expansive than typical consumer headsets, making them viable bluetooth headphones for construction work in large open-plan sites or warehouses where distance from the control unit matters. The battery life is equally commanding, offering an average life of 40 hours on a single charge, which reduces the frequency of recharging needed compared to many competitors.
Despite these strengths, the BKM400 sacrifices some general-purpose versatility. The audio driver size is 40 millimeters, slightly smaller than the 50mm units found in the Corsair, and the impedance is 32 ohms, which is standard for consumer electronics but may not offer the same dynamic range for competitive gaming. The material is constructed from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and Polycarbonate (PC), prioritizing durability and cost-efficiency over premium metal finishes. While it offers comfortable fit with memory foam leather earcups and an adjustable headband, it lacks the active noise cancellation controls and media app integration found in higher-end gaming gear. It is the ideal choice for those who prioritize battery longevity, range, and ease of use for television consumption above all else.
• Best for TV Dialogue Clarity → Tianfucen BKM400: The BKM400 is explicitly tuned for crisp dialogue with well-balanced sound, ensuring you hear every word without turning up the volume, a critical feature for drama, sports, and movies.
• Best for Multi-Platform Gaming → Corsair HS70: With Windows Sonic surround sound support and high-fidelity USB connectivity, the HS70 places you right in the middle of the action with 360° audio that the BKM400 cannot replicate.
• Best for Long Battery Life → Tianfucen BKM400: At 40 hours of average playtime, the Tianfucen outlasts the Corsair's 30 hours, reducing the need to plug in during extended viewing sessions or long shifts.
• Best for Wireless Range → Tianfucen BKM400: With a stated range of 150 feet (50 meters), the BKM400 allows you to roam much further than the Corsair's 30-foot Bluetooth limit.
• Best for Microphone Versatility → Corsair HS70: The detachable, noise-cancelling mic on the HS70 offers better voice clarity options, provided you use a wired connection on restricted platforms like the Switch.
• Best for Ease of Setup → Tianfucen BKM400: The auto-reconnect feature and lack of pairing requirements make the BKM400 far simpler to use for non-technical users compared to the Bluetooth pairing process of the HS70.
• Best for Durability Materials → Corsair HS70: The aluminum enclosure suggests a more robust build quality suitable for heavy daily handling compared to the ABS/PC plastic housing of the Tianfucen.
• Best Value for Construction Work → Tianfucen BKM400: For those needing bluetooth headphones for construction work where range and battery life are paramount, the BKM400's 150-foot reach and 40-hour life provide better utility than the shorter-range gaming headset.
After weighing the specifications and real-world use cases, I would buy the Tianfucen BKM400 for my own needs. While the Corsair HS70 is a fantastic piece of gaming hardware, the Tianfucen solves the actual problems I face most often: long battery life, the ability to move far away from the source without losing signal, and the absolute necessity of zero audio delay when watching content. In a construction environment or a busy home, the 150-foot range and 40-hour battery life of the BKM400 offer practical freedom that the 30-foot limit of the Corsair simply cannot match. If you need the best in ear earbuds for construction work, you might look elsewhere, but for over-ear reliability and range, the BKM400 is the clear winner.
Yes, both models have wireless capabilities, but the Tianfucen BKM400 is better suited for large job sites due to its 150-foot range and 40-hour battery life, whereas the Corsair HS70 is limited to 30 feet.
No, the Tianfucen BKM400 uses a USB transmitter that auto-reconnects when powered on, requiring no Bluetooth pairing steps, unlike the Corsair HS70 which requires standard Bluetooth pairing.
The Corsair HS70 likely offers superior gaming immersion with its 50mm drivers and support for Windows Sonic surround sound, while the Tianfucen focuses on balanced dialogue for TV rather than spatial audio.
The Tianfucen BKM400 lasts up to 40 hours on average, while the Corsair HS70 provides up to 30 hours of battery life per charge.
