Meagan was a part of the Cougarettes from 2014-2016. After graduation, she attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Meagan was a member of the CSU Golden Poms for four years. She graduated in December 2019 with a B.S. in Mind, Brain, and Behavior Psychology. Immediately after, Meagan was accepted into an accelerated nursing program to get my B.S. in Nursing. She plans to graduate the program in August 2021 to become a Neonatal-ICU nurse in the Denver, CO area. Meagan’s favorite memory from being on the Cougarettes was attending NDA Nationals in Orlando, FL every year. Not only was she able to compete and cheer on other teams, but during this time, she and her teammates developed a bond that has not been broken years later. One of the most important lessons Meagan learned in her time on the Cougarettes is “We are all more capable than we believe we are, so have courage and don’t be afraid, take those chances. Go Cougars!”
