Lexi Almeido was a member of the Cougarettes from 2014-2018. After graduating from Coronado, Lexi went to Boise State University to earn a BA in Media Arts with an emphasis in Journalism and a certificate in Sports Information and Culture. She is a member of the Boise State Mane Line Dance Team and Alpha Chi Omega. Additionally, Lexi is the Sports and Rec Editor for the school newspaper, The Arbiter, and will continue to pursue a career in sports journalism after college. Lexi’s favorite memory from her time as a Cougarette is the Spring Assembly from her Senior year. At that assembly, the team performed a hip-hop routine inspired by the app Vine. Lexi has such fond memories of that last time performing in front of Cougar Nation!
